Information on Liason Groups
The consultation process is supported by regular meetings with two groups of local people, described below. These meetings are chaired by Soundings and, when required, attended by Qatari Diar, the masterplanning team, Ward Councillors from both Westminster City Council and the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and planning officers from Westminster City Council.
The Community Liaison Group draws together representatives from businesses, retailers, interest and amenity groups, faith groups, schools and other organisations in the area. Representatives from service providers such as the Primary Care Trust, the Metropolitan Police and the Safer Neighbourhood Team are also invited to join.

The Residents Liaison Group draws together Tenants and Residents Associations (TRAs) in the area, as well as nominated ‘street representatives’ to ensure all sections of the community are adequately represented. There are approximately 35 TRAs and ‘street rep’ members at present.
