A number of major constraints attach to the site. These include a safeguarded arrangement for tunnels to serve the future Crossrail 2 and ventilation and access chambers. There are many trees on the site subject to tree preservation orders. There are also many listed buildings in the neighbourhood and two conservation areas in the immediate vicinity of the site.
